This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes Network Telephone Services Inc. and its affiliated companies (“Company,”Us,” “Our,” or “We)’s practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing the Personal Information We may collect from you through Our interactions with you or what you may provide when you visit the Websites, including the Websites located at www.nts.net (Websites”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Personal Information collected through the Websites, Our customer service representatives, or the telephone services that We operate.


The Websites may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, services, social networks, or applications.  Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow a third party to collect or share data about you.  We do not control third-party’s websites, and We encourage you to review the terms of any applicable privacy policy for every website or third-party service prior to navigating on that website or using a third-party’s service.

1. DATA WE MAY COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Personal information refers to any information about an individual from which that person can be identified.  We may collect, use, store, and transfer Personal Information about you, which We describe as follows:

·                Identity Data includes the telephone number(s) that you may use to contact us or to access Our telephone services, first name, last name, username or similar identifier, including internet protocol (IP) address, social security number/national identification number, government-issued photo identification, date of birth, and gender.

·                Contact Data includes mailing address, email address, and telephone numbers.

·                Profile Data includes your username and password, your login data, purchases or orders made by you, your interests, preferences, feedback, and survey responses.

 

Ø    Commercial Information

 

·         Financial Data includes bank account details.  We collect and store limited Financial Data to process your payments and complete transactions on our payment gateway.

·         Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of the content, product or the services you have purchased from the Company.

 

Ø    Information Relating to Internet Activity or Other Electronic Network Activity

 

·                Usage Data includes information about how you use Our Websites, Our telephone services and other similar services.

 

Ø    Audio, Electronic, or Visual Information

·                Telephone Data includes the type of telephone you used to contact the telephone services, carrier details, subscriber information, and any other characteristics of your telephone and/or telephone number.

·                Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and third parties and your communication preferences.

·                Third Party Data may include data from partners, vendors, or public sources.

·                Payment Card Data includes payment card information.  We collect and store limited Financial Data in order to process your payments and complete your transactions on our payment gateway.

 

We do not collect any “special categories” of Personal Information, as that term is understood and defined in certain data protection laws (“special categories” includes, for example, details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, or genetic and biometric data) unless you voluntarily provide it.  Nor do We collect information about criminal convictions and offenses.


If you fail to provide Personal Information

Where We need to collect Personal Information by law, or under the terms of a contract We have with you, and you fail to provide that Personal Information when requested, We may not be able to perform the contract.  In this case, We may have to cancel a product or service you have with Us.
